Matt Presnell graduated from Ferris State University in 1994 with a major in Professional Golf Management.  He began his career at the Lakeland Golf & CC, located in Brighton Michigan.   After several years, he moved to Hilton Head Island to further his career and accept another Assistant Golf Professional position at the Bear Creek Golf Club.  In 2000, he became Head Professional at the Oyster Reef Golf Club, then moved on to Berkeley Hall to become their Head Golf Professional in 2003.
