Krista Dunton was born in Atherton California, where she began learning the game at age of 9 at the Stanford University Golf Course. A graduate from the University of Michigan, she played the LPGA Futures Tour for several years before deciding to pursue teaching full time.

Krista began her teaching career as the Director of Instruction at Forsgate Country Club in New Jersey where she also coached the Princeton University Golf Team. She is a “Class A” member of the PGA and LPGA. During her ten years in New Jersey she was awarded the PGA Teacher of the Year for the New Jersey Section in 2001; and LPGA Northeast Section Teacher of the Year and the LPGA National Teacher of the Year in 2002. She was named one of the 12 most influential people in golf in New Jersey and was listed as a top instructor by Golf Magazine and Golf Digest. Since 1999, she has been on the Golf For Women Magazine Advisory Staff and recognized as one of their Top 50 Teachers. Krista is a Master Staff Member of Callaway Golf.

In 2006, she was named the PGA Carolinas Section “Teacher of the Year”. She has been listed by Golf Digest as a top teacher in South Carolina 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Krista knows what to fix in your swing, and what to leave alone. A former student of Jim Hardy, she has the expertise to understand and solve any swing and help any player take their game to the next level.
